Winter, the disabled dolphin :)

Before the end of the first day of 2012, I was amazed by a family movie the Dolphin’s Tale, which storyline is combined things I love, and would like to do in the future, saving marine animals and working with kids and people with disabilities. This movie even succeeded to steal my heart by having my all-time favorite’s boy band, Westlife, as one of its soundtrack song in the end of the movie, which shown the true life story of such an amazing creature, a dolphin named Winter, and how she become such a positive energy for people with disabilities. Seeing smiles and how things are, made me more excited and has pumped up my spirit to start working and realizing what’s been lingering on my mind for years J

But I also disagree with the idea of captivity of marine animals such smart and soft-hearted such dolphin especially when the dolphins are disable like Winter and Panama (she is deaf) and use them for such profit without put their interest at first hand. Facilitating a place for such disable animals which can help the animals themselves and help people with disabilities as well is a great idea, but after all, having the best interest of the dolphins at first also can’t be neglected. By putting them in a facilitation and make them a star while lots of people, thousands of people are coming to see their attraction, and make those disabled dolphin to do the attraction lots of times daily just being cruel. The noise of those thousands peoples whose coming and the stress and the attraction just torture the dolphins.

The idea was supposed to be helping the marine animal, providing the disabled dolphins with such a facilitation which experts can help them with their disabilities, and also help other people with disabilities or amputees to gain some inner confidence and support from those soft and great animals, not making them a machine, an entertainments machine in an amusement park and water park and ignoring what happened to the dolphins with the attractions, crowd and stress because of that.

STOP THE CAPTIVITY. HELP WINTER TO HELP US UNDERSTAND WHAT DISABILITIES REALLY ARE BY HELP HER TO GET MORE SUPERVISION AND PROTECTION FROM CROWD, OVER-EXPLOITATION AND STRESS.

After this posts, I’ll posts some video showing how great Winter is, and how the movie have succeeded to steal my heart but also a video of how stress Winter is with the attraction, crowd and everything. Please save Winter J
